What is BEAP PRO?

New for the 2026-27 season, BEAP PRO is designed for older students who wish to be pushed further in their acting, singing and dancing skills, through working towards a more mature production over the course of three months. . Everything in BEAP PRO, from the revamped audition process to the immersive style of this years' production, is designed to give you a taste of what a true West End production would be like.  

For our inaugural year, BEAP PRO will be producing the legendary Broadway smash 'Chicago'. This show showcases all three musical theatre disciplines through the morbidly hilarious story of Roxie Hart, standing trial for murder in the foggy Chicago winter of 1928. Chicago is the perfect show to allow our older performers to improve in every discipline, including mastering the iconic Fosse style of choreography.  Furthermore, performers will be accompanied by a live band, and perform in an immersive, cabaret style of theatre, weaving the audience into the very fabric of the show. 

As with every BEAP show, cast members will work with the best musical theatre practitioners the North West has to offer, in direction, choreography, vocal training and production. This is a real opportunity for students across Liverpool to get a taste of a West End production.

Costs

BEAP PRO will cost £250. This will only be asked for once we have cast the show, as the audition workshop day is completely free. BEAP PRO lays outside of any usual BEAP discounts.

Auditions and Casting

BEAP PRO is a fully auditioned ensemble, with only 20 places available. Auditions will be in person, and take place at the City of Liverpool College on the 4th October. 

The first half of the audition day will be a dance workshop, where you will be taught some iconic Fosse choreography. The second half of the day will be individual singing and acting auditions. 

The audition day itself is completely free. If you want to come along to learn a new style of dance and get some experience auditioning, just do it! We would love to see you there.
