What is Big BEAP?

BEAPanto is our annual pantomime group, focusing on bringing one classic Pantomime tale to life each Winter! 

Students come together on Saturdays through October and November to learn choreography, receive pop vocal tuition and master their comedic timing, putting it all together at the end of the month in one festive spectacle.

BEAPanto is a chance for our students to really let loose, and become more well rounded performers. Pantomime is such an excellent way for performers to develop their skills, not only in singing, dancing and acting but also in feeling more comfortable on stage, improvising, group chemistry, and character work - all vital to a well rounded performer. 

Auditions

BEAPanto is a non-auditioned ensemble. Auditions are held only for those wanting to try for a main role. 

Auditions take place via video submissions. For 2026's Jack and the Beanstalk, video auditions are due by the 26th June. 

Costs

BEAPanto is the standard £200 fee for a Big BEAP production. There is no additional fees following this, as all costumes, set and anything else you need is covered by this fee.

Where and when is BEAPanto based?

In 2027, Big BEAP will take place from the 5th-11th April, with the last two days being full show days! 

The performances will be at the state-of-the-art G20 Theatre in the City of Liverpool Arts College, and not for the first time! The College's theatre has become the home of BEAP since we did our first production of Moana there in 2021, and they are the perfect venue to house our different ensembles. Their technicians and students work tirelessly in collaboration with our directors to give each show that BEAP sparkle.
